Where to Stay in Taksim & Beyoğlu: Hotels Near Istiklal

Taksim and Beyoğlu put you within walking distance of Istiklal Street, the metro, and most of the city's nightlife, which is why so many first-time visitors and newcomers start here. The trade-off is noise and steep streets, so it pays to pick the right block. This short list covers six hotels around Taksim, from a well-established Bosphorus-view option to small budget stays, with notes on what guests tend to praise and where reviews are mixed. Rates change by season, so check current prices on the booking site of your choice. Planning to stay longer than a few nights? Our Apartment Shortlisting service finds longer-term options nearby, and the Things to Do in Beyoğlu & Taksim collection covers what to see once you've checked in.
